BUILDING: Galesburg-Augusta Primary School 

 

HOURS: Full Day - Five Days Per Week 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

• Ability to lead instruction with groups of young children

• Must meet NCLB requirements; 2 years college (60 credit hours) or pass a competency exam

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Teaching experience, substitute teaching experience or experience working with young children in an educational setting

 

DUTIES:

• Deliver instructional support to children grades K – 4 in reading and math
• Manage flexible groups of students
• Provide one-on-one academic interventions for students
• Recess Coverage

WAGES:  As per Galesburg-Augusta Paraprofessional contract.
